Need to install Mavericks from the USB disk and already have the installer (Install OS X Mavericks.app) on one of your computer?

The official explanation from Apple Support using command "createinstallmedia" from inside the Mavericks.app

/Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia

Here's how I create the bootable USB Mavericks installer from my friend's USB disk into my (other) USB disk.

This tool must be run as root.
o:~ oonarfiandwi$ sudo su -
Password:
o:~ root# /Volumes/VOLATILE/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled --applicationpath /Volumes/VOLATILE/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app
Ready to start.
To continue we need to erase the disk at /Volumes/Untitled.
If you wish to continue type (Y) then press return: y
Erasing Disk: 0%... 10%... 20%...100%...
Copying installer files to disk...
Copy complete.
Making disk bootable...
Copying boot files...
Copy complete.
Done.
o:~ root#

Now you can start your Mavericks installation from the USB disk!
